Another productive hunt. Super low negative tide today. I found my fifth inkwell. This one is from 1869. The Hires bottle is my favorite find from this hunt. I believe it’s from around 1910. Enjoy the pics.

Great variety! Congratulations.

Wow, those are nice. Love the barnacles, and that blue bottle is pretty.

Thanks everybody. That ‘Long Distance’ soda bottle by A M Dodge inc. seems to be pretty rare. I can’t find anything on the bottle or the company.

Forgot to say I like that amber strapside flask. Also the deco soda with those barnacles on it.

After finding over 1000 bottles, this is the only strap sided whiskey bottle that I have come across. Actually, I’m not even sure if it was a whiskey bottle because it has a blob top finish. Gotta do some more research. One of my favorite finds.

Back in the 1970's, when I was a boy, my Dad and I would dig bottles. One that was common in our area was the Lydia Pinkhams Vegetable Compound, just like the one you found! We would always joke with each other about that odd name.

Thanks for bringing back some fond memories!
