Got out for a few hours today - found a 1943 Merc dime and a wrist watch only a few years old.

Thanks ahardy17. I think the watch was left by one of the guys who painted our house 10 years ago. When I cleaned it up, I notices paint splatters and marks on the band.

I use warm water to clean my coins, and then use baby oil to clean and protect further.

I was thinking the same thing trobaughokc, after I dug it up and saw the time/date.
I wonder how long it was running after it was lost and got buried. It also looks like it was hit by the lawnmower a few times.
