Default New Group Forming Duncannon PA 17020

Hey, all just want to put this out there, I will be starting a new metal detecting group. Located out of Duncannon, Pa 17020. Here is the preliminary logo. this group will be a family-friendly social club for all ages and experience levels.

Metal detecting, Magnet fishing, Gold prospecting ( eventually)

If anyone has any experience starting a group from the ground up any and all advise is welcome.

fell free to contact me with questions or comments, once a healthy membership interest is established I will find a place for a public meeting so we can establish our rules and regs as well as start discussing group outings, make notes of any possible permissions that could be beneficial for the group.

Happy Hunting

Rob

Day number 2 at Wagner Park. In total there were 4 of us swinging for the fences today. We hit the trails and did a lot of relic hunting. Below are my finds for the day. Photo 1 is after the trash was picked out. The rest are after a bath in the sonic cleaner to knock the dirt and grime off. Take note of the bullet sitting on the quarter for scale... Its lead appears to have rifling, small concave on the nose, decent size whole in the rear. Is it a modern muzzleloader or shotgun slug? Also, I found a hot rock. Very lightweight rang up high like a coin. No clue what that is either.
