This time by a goodly number of Walking Liberties, marching in a chevron pattern! This picture was taken before their capture at the base of the Castle gate by the Royal Photographer. We allowed them in and sicced the Royal Guard on them, and they gave up without a fight! They certainly are pretty and one, upper left, is so shiny, she must have cleaned up special for the visit!
KT will treat these Royal Guests with utmost care, feed them a Royal Meal of Roast Mutton and honey mead, and then have the Royal Jester entertain them, before packing them away to the Castle Dungeon so they can sleep it all off!
Here's the pic, below, and hoping you enjoy it. Except for the 1935, all of these coins range from 1940 to 1945. Eleven of these Walkers are S mints, one is a D, and the other eight are blank (Philadelphia). KT is well pleased with them as they are pleasant company!
