After doing very little detecting last year due to health issues, I've been able to get out a couple times this year with the unusually warm weather in the upper mid-west. Just been hitting a couple well-pounded parks to hone my coin-finding skills. One thing I really love about this hobby is you never really know what will come out of the ground. I was pleasantly surprised to find a 1932 20c foreign coin. When I got home I asked my wife, "How's your latin?". She was able to discern that it said "Vatican" and a quick google search confirmed that it is indeed a Vatican minted coin. Never expected to find that in a small town park. (It's about the size of a nickel.)
