First i dont know if my finds i should post here or in the story finds section.
Im a coinshooter and have seen pictures in both topics so until someone tells me to stop or until i decide on one ill be posting them in both. I think people look at both of them so i should pick one to post in.
Took my brother over to my favorite spot today after the rain had stopped. This was his first time going and using a detector. He went with me and my dad before and dug for my dad but never used a detector. Well last weekend my uncle have him a discovery 2000 i think or maybe its a 2200 one of the two it looks like the QDII or the pioneer 202. I got the first coin which was a 63 nickel in my dads yard while i waited for him to come out of the house i was picking him up. We got there and i got the first coin a 63 penny. He gets a 61 and 63 penny and the first timer takes the lead on his bigger brother. i pulled a 69 dime out. No sooner than i got done filling the hole he says i got a penny with one cent on the back i was sitting there like no way my younger brother whos never hunted before just found the oldest coin for the day so far. It was a 50d wheatie. About 10 mins later i pulled out a 37 wheatie.
i grabbed a 71 penny a couple of mins later then the rain hit. Total for me 4 pennies and a nickel.

Was a blast only a 45 min hunt because the rain came back in but i found me another hunting partner. Hopefully he gets hooked like me and wants to go as much as possible. I really thought with this being his first time out with a detector he would get discouraged. The machine he was using didnt have no pinpointer on it and i knew it would be hard for him to locate his targets. But i think he did fairly well.
