I found a coin, registered a penny on my XLT, yesterday. But as you can see, it has alot of crustiness to it. It has soaked in PB blaster since yesterday. PB blaster is like WD40 but better and stinkier. So I'm messing around with it right now and picking at it when 2 distinct shapes begin to appear. Can't see the metal just yet, but the size and sound are of pennies.
Anywho, just read about where someone else came across the same sort of thing and someone suggested to heat it up to 250 and cool it rapidly so I figured, why not.
This is a real time test for anyone else still up like me. The oven is heating up as this is written. I'm going to go for 30 minutes in the oven starting now.
