Question for AT Pro owners...

When you are out hunting, what do nickels ring up on VDI for you? On my Ace250/350 they were a piece of cake to find. On the AT Pro everytime I think its a nickel it is trash. I don't dig nickel signals anymore because of that...

On my AT Pro with my soil conditions nickels come in as 52 or 53.

Having only been out a few times I've pulled lot's of pull tabs but no nickels so far. I confess last time out I stopped digging those signals around 51 to 52. Very trashy site full of 'em. Guess I need to dig more....

99% were "52" the other "53"

All were 1946 to present. I bet close to 100 so far since I've been low tone hunting.

No buffs or V's yet. Or silver war nicks.

Depending on how the AT Pro ground balances they come up as 51,52,or 53. Never above 53 and never below 51.

And yes, sometimes I get a piece of trash that hits right in that range.

Mine too. If my ground ballance is off I'll get can slaw on either end of this range but the nickels are always in there too.
