Hit a personal milestone today. Have had my ?muffler on a stick? Fast Tracker since January 6th, (the one with the headphone jack that has never worked.) By 3:30 this afternoon, I pulled my one thousand twenty-sixth coin.

Headed up to central Illinois for a few days, Mother-in-law?s 84th birthday, I hope to hunt her parent?s old farm stead while I?m there. The house is gone, but the property is still in the family. With any luck I?ll come up with something other than clad and memmies.

After that I?m going up to my home town, about fifty miles straight south of Chicago. We?ve got outhouses up there older than OKC. The town was established at a ford on the Kankakee River, and incorporated in 1830. The only draw back is I?ll have limited detecting time.

Dang, Bob, that's great! You ARE leaving some for the rest of us - right?

Best of luck up home. Sounds like a potential gold mine!

Sounds promising! I believe you find more coinage than just about anyone else I can think of. With sites like that, no wonder!
Happy hunting and don't forget to post pictures to share.
Bob

Congrats on your 1,000th coin Bob! Feels great to hit your goal huh? I found my 1,000th coin a few months ago, and it was the prettiest crusty zinc penny I've ever seen!! Great job, now go get the next thousand!

You're doing great! I just checked my records and I hit my 500th coin found this year today. Keep up the good work! HH
