I've been hitting a few new spots on my holidays, and looks like it's paying off with lots of old stuff coming out. Not a lot of gold but all the signs are it's there I just need to dig deeper.
I've never found any 24k gold before, this little sucker is heavy for it's size. Tiny and thin, still clocks in at 3.37g

Way to go! Welcome to the 24K club! I have found two necklaces and either a nose piercing or earring with a screw that were 24K. Got a couple 23k that is also a hard one to check off. We have depositors during the summer that won't wear anything but 24K. But most don't get in the water. You get used to seeing that color, your 9K will be boring for a couple weeks

I hunted around for the chain that this must have come off but no luck. I know it's out there, hoping for some luck with the weather. Only fly in the ointment is its looking perfect but I have visitors this week.
I'll probably sneak out and plead forgiveness later

I found a 22k rabbit figure from a charm bracelet. And yeah, 22K and 24K is heavier that 10K for obvious reason. And they have that very distinctive deep gold color. I used to pan for gold in North GA, that it comes out of the ground looking like that deep gold color. Lots of Indians from India buy and wear 22K and 24k gold jewelry.
