Another place lost.

So what you are saying is you only hunt at night.🌌

You mean in-lieu of boiler plate fine print, that every single park has, about "alter", "deface", etc.... ? Then : No.

Let me give you an example :

In my city (and no doubt every city in your area too), all the parks rules (and muni codes/laws) will have something about deface, molest, dig, alter, damage, etc.... Right ? Yet as you well know, we can go out in broad daylight, detect all day, and no one will care one bit. Unless you are tromping on an obvious historic sensitive monument, or leaving holes, or being an obnoxious nuisance in some way. Thus no : No need to go at night.

99.9% of passerbys could care less, nor even notice you. Now is this to say that every last person on earth will roll out red carpets for you ? Is this to say that you'll NEVER get a stink eye from ANYONE ? Of course not. There will always be nosy-nellies and kill-joys in this life. I mean, let's be honest : Our hobby carries connotations (that you might be about to leave a hole, blah blah). But the solution is NOT to go in ahead of time asking "Can I ?" questions. That will only make it worse. Then you would simply become the victim of "No one cared UNTIL you asked" scenario
