I found my very first ring yesterday, and today I found a second! Both rings were found in playground bark. Today’s ring is stamped S925 even though it is gold in color. Is it gold plated silver? Is that a thing? The stones definitely appear to be rhinestones. So, although it’s very sparkly, it has little value. It rained each day that I found a ring. The rain must be lucky.
I would have detected longer, but as soon as the bark became wet from the rain, my detector went crazy. It rang constantly through all different signals, even when I wasn’t moving the detector. I messed with it for quite a while, but couldn’t get it to work properly. Is it normal for wet ground to mess up the signals?
