Dave's picture from the Philippines

A great picture Dave , beautiful family , congrats on a long and Happy Marriage ! I kept wondering why your father in law looked familiar .Then I realized that in that picture he looked like a younger version of our new Doctor . He is the Doctor our old Doctor went to .She has recently retired and he has taken over her practice and office . I recently visited him for the first time . A really great guy , knows his stuff and has a great sense of humor . He is originally from Manila .
My father in law passed on some years back , but mother in law now 93 is doing ok . I consider my wife's family mine as well and enjoy being with them. I really enjoy it over there ,love the people ,food, and the beauty of the islands .Looking forward to going back and bring my detector to hit some of the nice resort beaches .

Hey, at least his costume should help keep him warm !

Did you really think a little snow would stop Coinboy from detecting ?:laughing::laughing:
(Looks like he's trying to find his digger he dropped in the snow )

:laughing::laughing: Hey that’s pretty accurate! Happened to me last winter. I had left it in a park on accident and it snowed a foot the next day! So I put a big coil on my detector to look for it. After about an hour in 15 degree weather I finally found it! That was a nightmare so I have lanyards on everything now. But I plan on detecting as much as I can this winter, just hope my new etrac doesn’t get snow on it... :crying:

Better add a snow shovel to his detecting tools

Wow, neat, what are the odds I'd make a funny edit fairly close to what actually happen to you last winter  :?:

If you should happen to build a Snowman while you are out playing in the snow, don't mistakenly use your Garrett carrot for a nose or someone will most likely steal it !

....it helps with providing traction on snow covered sidewalks too !

Looks like Grumpa found out "True Grit" more than just the title of a cowboy movie :laughing::laughing:

Garrett Carrot for a nose, Sampson shovels for arms, coins for eyes and buttons, pull-tab chain for mouth and a detectorist hat !

Looks like Coinboy managed to make a snowman even bundled up so much it looks difficult to move :laughing::laughing:

Coinboy's snowman

Coinboy must be finding a ton of money to be affording all that fancy winter getup and all those accessories on old Frosty ! Walking Liberties for buttons ?
Dang , I must not be living right !

With the weather getting ready to hit the east coast might be a lot of detecting snowmen out there soon. :lotsasnow: :snowman3::snowing: :snowtruck: :sledding: :snowshovel: :snowballfight:
