Post Your 2019 MDing Goals

To do better in the finds category over last year. This year I only found $294.85 in clad and that is my lowest total every.

Well, it looks like you've achieved your first goal already, that was quick!

I'm still waiting for all the snow to thaw, probably only 4 months of waiting left... :lotsasnow::snowtruck::snowballfight:

Yep, I don't like a blank signature so had to change that quickly  Good luck when you're able to get out :)

Get out and hunt more at good permissions

I spent more time on the 800 learning it from March 2018. My gosh, that was eight months. I hunted nearby familiar sites to get my hours on the 800. It is not your daddy's AT Pro, that is for sure.

Plus we have had tons of rain in the South this past nov, dec and continuing this first week of 2019. So now it is time to go and hunt all the researched sites and permissions I have accumulated over the past two months. When the rain stops.

Goals for finds?

of course silver but civil war relics that I have yet to find.

HH Everyone!

My goals are to find 100+ coins, $10+ in clad, 1 silver, & 3 wheaties. Not very high, but 2017 I found $15.75 and 1 wheatie, 2018 I found $10.40. So it would be nice to find some more wheaties and I'm hoping I find my first silver! :mder:

Hopefully, I will do a lot better this year, with my new Garrett Treasure Ace 300, headphones, & new digger from my gift exchange partner Silversmith45, plus my new Pinpointer my brother bought me for Christmas. :mder: We have enough equipment for our whole family to go MDing! :D

So, what are your 2019 MDing goals? :mder: Happy hunting and God Bless! :mder:

I have been blessed to be surrounded by old parks and fields, I find lot's of wheats, silver tho, not so much. So my silver coin goal is 20. Also 500 pull tabs. My son and I have a contest for those each time we go out who has the most. The winner get's to choose where we get lunch.

My goal would be to find anything worth while!

I'm going back to my home state of Louisiana to do some hunting in March. I'm going to several different areas and do different kinds of hunting. My goal in 2019 is a simple one. While I'm in Louisiana all I want to do is find Jean Lafitte's gold. Nothing to out of this world. Gotta keep realistic expectations in this hobby, ya know.

Something other than aluminum cans or pull tabs. However at the rate I’m digging them up I can see a new truck insight

Just got an Equinox 600 today so this year will be learning it and hopefully getting to new places and hopefully some great finds.

One simple one

To get out there more than I have in the past few years. No specific bucket list or target numbers as a goal. It would be nice to find a Barber Half though

Jim

Lowering silver goal to 50. Probably won’t get out as much this year. Still looking for number one on my bucket list...any US Large Cent. Could this finally be the year?

My metal detecting goals are: to get out more than I did last year, to enjoy my new rig and gear, and most importantly, to make many more treasured memories with my family (my favorite detecting partners) out in God's beautiful world! :mder:

I want to find the legendary double headed Carson city minted dime. A total of 10 were made and the CC mint recorded 9 of those being destroyed leaving a singlular coin.

Wow, just woke up from dreaming😂😂😂

I want to find some old coinage, western tokens, maybe some gold. Will hit parks for modern stuff and hope to find some jewelry.

Great Post Wolf-Dog!!
Had my best year detecting this past year, found my first largie, my first 1800s silver, first gold ring, hope to have at least an equal year, so....

Here are my goals,

1. 25 silvers
2. Anything Seated...
3. 20 IHPs
4. War Nickel I have found Vs and Buffs, but never a War Nickel

My 2019 metal detecting goal is to get to the lakes way more often. I only made two lake hunts last year and would like to up that to say twenty or more. There's some nice spots in the New Hampshire lakes region that have incredible mountain views and if you get there before dawn when it's still very dark and see the first light of day with that scenery it's pretty amazing. If I have quite a few more days like that in 2019 anything I find will just be a nice bonus and a little reminder of a great summer morning.

Gold coin!!!!! Peace dollar, Seated quarter, Franklin half... I really need to get on more private permissions....

1. I want to figure how to use my nox enjoyably, without all the frickin extra noise.

2, 2 or 3 gold rings, and a heavy gold bracelet or necklace . About 15 or 20 grams of gold. Hopefully all 14k,. But I will take 10 or 18k.💰💰💰💰💰
