Headed out to the fields today, it was beautiful weather and I love the color of the wheat. Had a very special find today; an awesome silver spoon with etching on the front, with no makers mark, just a hand scribed H B on the back. I was very surprised to find the handle about 10 feet away from the spoon. I never thought I'd find the other half after digging the first piece. I also dug A nice handful older coins and civil war tokens. One token is for CARD PEARCE & CO.HILLSDALE MICHIGAN an agricultural implements supplier. The other token is Child's Die Sinker, 117 1/2 Randolph St Chicago; 1863. I do not know what the brass barbel looking thing is.... happy hunting ! Thanks for looking !
