Nice!! Very nice indeed. I am on the waiting list for the equinox 800. I have a ctx and love it. I've had it for about six weeks now. The equinox 800 will be for my wife. With my ctx, I found a nice silver ring today with a blue heart shaped stone. I found a nice 24" silver chain/necklace Sunday. Also, today I found a Chuck E Cheese token. The closest Chuck E Cheese is 75 miles away. If the equinox 800 is anything like the ctx, it will be an awesome machine. Can't wait to get my hands on it and see what it will do. It being so lite, it will be great for my wife.

That's exactly what I was thinking.
The true test of a new machine is by taking it to a "hunted out" site that you have already been to many times with other high end detectors, your convinced that you "got all the keepers" and you never plan on going back again.
This is an outstanding testimonial for the Nox !

Excellent hunt, that ring is a beauty! Would've been interesting to have another machine alongside you (whether it be a ctx or deus), and then when you get a signal on the nox, go over it with another detector to see if it would also pick it up. Nonetheless, I think I may have to reconsider the equinox lol
