So the last month I've been playing around with my new hobby, making things out of leather. So I decided that I'd make a holster for my digger. I think it turned out pretty good for a bonehead like me.:lol:

My next one will be for a lesche

From one bonehead to another, Nice work!

I guess I should break out the ol' leather and tools I have stashed from years ago.

Looks great. I like the angle that it has.

Thanks,, The reason for the angle is, when its on my left side the handle is facing back out of my way when I'm detecting. I normally swing with my right hand but I've got my left hand trained to take over when my right hand is giving out.:lol:

Thats pretty cool. Here is some of mine and my dads leather work,

We buy tooling leather to make all our sheaths. Not the dyed stuff. We dye it ourself. I have that same half dollar concho. We buy all our stuff at tandy leather.
The closest store is Fresno ca. Its about 1.5 hours away And I drive a f250 diesel truck. its cheaper to order the tooling from the net. I got the walker for hobby lobby's in Visalia ca. They carry a small assortments from Tandy's.

Oh ok.:)

Your wood burning stamp should work. You can test it on some scrap first. I like how you molded the leather to your digger. Mine might not be as pretty, but they work well.
