Managed to get out Sunday in the front yard for a bit. Found this really cool pot metal family crest brooch (or at least what is left of it) I believe is from the 30's or 40's. Also found an old steel butter knife (no pics).

Cool find! I hate that pot metal, the soil does horrible things to it... Congrats!

No.. I have been trying to find out the meaning of the crest .. I believe I have it narrowed down to two different ones.. but neither state name or meaning.. it is very frustrating..
