Well I haven't touched my welder in a a long time and while cleaning up the garage I ran across some scraps of past projects. I thought I'd see what I could throw together...











It seem to work ok. I found a knob off an old cane I want to attach to the end of it. Kinda cool to add a find to what I use to find AND a lil more comfy on the hand. I get some more pics when all finished.

Nice job! I've seen people drill out a golf ball and attach it to the end of their digger...just a thought.

Nice tool, you might find you'll need the end more pointed to penetrate the earth easier, but I'm sure you'll figure that out soon enough if need be. It's great to build some of your own tools, though.

The knob I found, I believe, belonged to a friend of mine who recently passed away, so that's a big reason for wanting to use it. As for the point, already made a few changes! I'll get some more pics up.
