Thanks Nick! Yea the amount of lead was crazy on the first day! I cleared out as much as I could. I save the lead and resell it once I fill up a bucket. I make approx $60-$100 bucks a year just on lead. This haul puts me way over my first quarter lead quota

Thanks Z! Yea man some old targets got churned up for sure, these are probably the most crustified 10k gold I've ever pulled out of the wet sand. Most of the silver is toast and worthy of the melt pile. :yes:

Thanks joee5! I almost did go out for a 4th round but I was pretty spent after 3 days, plus thunder storms were predicted for the day and I just didn't feel up to the challenge. Targets seemed to be petering out on the 3rd day anyway and tides were no longer getting low enough to hit the sweet spots on the slope..

great work.. That's ALOT of weights. And where there's weights there's usually GOLD.. I'm jealous dude. I haven't been out in some time. This cold weather and life in general has just keep me away from the hunt.

Thanks low tide! Yea the lead was crazy on the first day! Luckily I wasn't parked too far from the beach and was able to make several trips to unload :yes:

I hear ya on the cold weather, its been harsh lately. Hope your able to get out there soon :yes:

Thanks Meggie! Well I was able to get the crust off the rings, unfortunately the 10k ring with the stone didn't fair too well from the process :no:

pretty much fell apart into several pieces. The stone looks great though and looks like a Ruby. Total weight on all the crusty 10k came out to 23 grams, not too shabby :yes:
