Hi guys, I recently got a Garrett Ace 250 and love it, but I have a question. Does it lock on to signals differently in the dirt than it does at the beach? Is there much of a difference in how it will find signals at the beach, then digging at the park? Because I have took it out to the beach and it seemed to work pretty sweet. But when i took it to the park today, I seemed to get a few more signals. So I was just wondering if it is a good beach machine or not, which is important to me because i love detecting on the beaches. I would love to hear back from you all.
P.S. I was tired of digging junk at the park so I set it to only pick up pennies and up, and what a difference it made. I wonder if it would make a much of a difference at the beach as well?
