Was musing.....what if you could buy a detector that would "learn" along with you, or...you could periodically "update" with shared data via computer? Eventually it would have discrim out the wazoo! Do you think the manufacturers are working on something like this? Or is it even a good idea? Just thoughts.

I think we the humans are the AI when we talk about our MD to others with the same machine.

Why not an AI detector with Amazon Alexa built in so you can talk to your detector and it can talk back ?

You got a point there. But can we remember all that when we are over the target? On the other hand, if it could/does happen, would it suck the life outta the hobby?
