I dug this an at first I thought it was a gas cap but as I cleaned it up I'm really not sure now
Sorry I couldn't get it any cleaner as I was cleaning it started falling apart

Please help identify me!!!!

Disagree. I swear I've seen that thing before, it'll come to me. Maybe something to do with piping, pipe flange something. Pipe support or the like.

It appears to me that it could be some sort of light mounting bracket . Possibly a brake light on an old automobile ? It does look familiar to me.

I disagree with myself too, and am no longer thinking radiator cap part. ;)
It certainly does look familiar to me as well. The mounting bracket idea seems like a good possibility...
 
Exaust manifold to pipe flang clamp is my guess without knowing the size..

Leaveright would be precisely correct..

Those are generally triangular in shape and have 3 bolt holes and no slots.
