"Predator 3" battery cover??

A friend gave me this one for a new toy... it says "Predator III by Kelly Co." I always wanted one, always loved finding old stuff and just collecting..

Anyway, it has no battery cover, seems to take 2x9v batteries, and I can't figure out a way to keep them in place that works. Google is doing me no good here, does anyone know where I can buy a replacement??

I did a little searching on Google and it appears it was made by Tesoro so that's who I would contact. Best of luck.
