OK guys I am wanting a bigger deeper coil for open areas. Does anyone have any opinions on which is better and why? I think one of the 15" would be a great size. I am at the beach right now and wish I had one. Opinions please

I am super impressed with the NEL Sharpshooter on my E-Trac, can only think that the BIG NEL coil would impress me equally. And I think the Coil Tek is way more expensive, like maybe you're paying for the name as well... although I have read that Coil Tek use to produce all the Minelab coils.

I could tell you, but I'd just be labeled a shill. So call Bart and ask. He'll give you the straight scoop.

The attack and WOT are about equal in performance as performance is mostly tied to coil footprint.
Will come down to preference. NEL ounce lighter Coiltek $5 cheaper NEL Black Coiltek Orange Coiltek is Official Minelab supported coil maker/partner Once you go over 13" you are mostly just getting more coverage on coin sized objects. __________________ |
