Attention Bart:

Time for an upgrade. This is what fits me best. Was hoping to get a senior discount lol.

Point me to the best deal. Thanks in advance ☺️

Do you really want the ATP? I've shelved mine after I tried out the Legend...ATP is a great machine but after swinging the Nokta its apples and oranges. IMO

Ya pretty much gonna go with the AT Pro. My buddy has one and loves it. I've tried it and don't see any reason to buy something else.

Will wait til maybe a better deal shows up though.

Lol i got that pro pack also comes with accupoint, extra 6" coil, extra battery pack, digger, accessory pack, hat, etc.

That's the beauty of digging clad. New detector and all that extra stuuff cost me less than 300 bucks.

I love this hobby!

EDIT. Pinpointer and bag were more didnt get those.

I can vouch that the extra battery pack can come in handy. Counter-intuitive how to use it at first, and detector is not waterproof when it's attached! I guess it would have made more sense to call it an external battery pack rather than extra battery pack since that what it really is.

I can get about 8-10 solid hours of use with my Legend and then I am usually down to 1-2 bars of battery.

Look what just showed up.

A new adventure begins.

Good for you!
If anyone wanted an AT Pro I think the best thing would be to find a used one. Not hard to find on Craigslist or the classifieds here for about $350, often with accessories.

Choppadude has one in the classifieds here for $320 with two coils, price included shipping.
Too heavy for me but a pretty good detector.

I have heard nothing but good things about the Legend. The only reason I went with the Minelabs Equinox 600 is that it wasn't cutting edge and had no updates that needed applying. The Legend was still having firmware bugs that needed to be patched, but I think it is solid right now.
