WK#7, Career 1000, 2 Halves In A 13 Silver Week.

That’s alot of silver,wow..1000 silver coins? I couldn’t imagine,I’m gonna count mine up but I’m thinking I got a lot of years to even get close to half of that.congradulations on the 1000 silver coin count, and all those beauties.
Thank you for the kind words. They did not come over night Butcher, sometimes the slumps seemed to never end but I wore that number down over time.
That’s so awesome you hit 1000 career silvers, welcome to the club. Another stellar week too, congrats. How many years have you been detecting? One thing I have never found is a Kennedy silver. Keep those silver coming and hope you get a break in your weather.
Thank you, I stated in the summer of 2010 Jason. My first a War Nickle did not come until that December. I now have 3 Kennedy's, 2 "64"s (1st one is holed) and a "68". Weather now is blowing winds and snow and looks to stay through tomorrow. Been that way the last two days so it may be med week before I get out again.
OUTSTANDING ! A milestone for sure. Huge atta boy ! I'm still working on a hundred and this year hasn't been to productive in that dept. Again congrats Trapper, now go get the next 1,000. By the way, how long did it take ? HH Mark
Appreciate your kind reply Mark. I started detecting in 2010 and it really took hold. Only 989 now to go on the next thousand.
You are having quite a year Jack!
It has been an unbelievable year so far Jerry. Never expected things to go this well. Retirement does have some advantages. Trapper

Nice Job!

Congrats on reaching a career high of 1000! :woot: What a milestone! :stars:

I've always enjoyed reading your posts, it seems you always have a neat story and cool finds to share with us. Hope you find a lot of goodies from his yard and in the hunts to come.

A huge congrats on digging your 1000th Silver ! :run1:
This is a milestone that very few people in our hobby will ever reach !

Congrats on a HUGE amount of silver! I'd love to see a pic of it all.
Thank you Toad. I had thought about a group picture as I still have every coin but I'm afraid to tear done the camera setup. It's presently on a tripod set for the close-ups.
You have 94 silvers for the year in frozen Wisconsin?
Do you hunt with a flamethrower close? Great finds.
Well yes and no Bob. First my addition leaves a bit to desire. I only have 92 Silvers. Thank you for bringing that to my attention I have corrected my math error. No flamethrower although the wife tells me I'm full of hot air from time to time. Much of Wisconsin still has frozen grounds. In my area the North sides of buildings and in the woods the ground is not completely thawed. Although we here are now in our third straight day of snow, sleet and thunder storms. Combined with very brutal winds. I'm not to sure what our conditions are outside at this time.
Killing it! Great haul Trapper! Congrats buddy!
Thank you Dewayne, I feel I could have added a few more if the weather would just cooperate.

Appreciate your reply Wolf. Very kind words, thank you. Reaching this plateau was never a goal when I started in this hobby but digging Silver always was. The numbers slowly kept adding and I hope my health and time will allow me to continue doing so.
A huge congrats on digging your 1000th Silver ! :run1:

Thank you Trac. I have been blessed in this hobby, not only with the digging success. But finding this forum and meeting some very fine people through it. The open discussions and the great shared information has aided my development as an detectionist. The shared adventures that I cherish even more so than a lot of the finds. My only regret is that I didn't get into this sooner. Trapper

The thaught of a day someone can come on here and announce that they have reached the 1000 silver mile stone is mindblowing.
I know it has taken 7 or 8 years of persistence and hunting experience to accomplish but it seems like a shorter time frame then it would take the majority of the hunters out there to do.
You are an elite class silver slayer Trap.
Just amaizing !

I was very happy to be there the day this happened .
I'll never forget the smile on your face when I rolled up and you held out your hand with the Big Ben and washington in it .
Good times .
Congrats buddy 👍

DUDE! Way to go! I know from reading lots of your posts that you put in some serious time, labor, & research too. Also, you invested in the right equipment, and through consistent, extensive focus and practice, the student has become the Master!

Thank Dew's for the kind words. I was bubbling pretty good when you arrived it would have been neat had those two coins occur in reverse. Still I was very happy to attain this goal. Looking forward to our next adventure. That is if I can get rid of all this snow.

I really appreciate your generous words Foragist. I am not the most skilled guy with the detector, but nobody (except my wife) will fun fault with the effort, preparation or intensity. Again thank you.
Hot dayum! 1000! That’s some silvers for sure, wow!
Was looking at them Sweeper wondering how I could get them all in a picture. A lot of swing time over the years. I truly believe I did not realize I was chasing Silver until I bought my first Minelab. It has been a learning experience and one heck of a bunch memories and adventures. Trapper

W O W! Huge congrats on a spectacular achievement! I will have to relocate to a better part of the country to ever approach those numbers

Thank you Blackie. I'm blessed by my location as there is a a very decent population close enough and old enough to take advantage of. Today's machines made things a lot easier along with having some great friends.

Huge congratulations on 1000 Trapper!!
I have been at this for over 7 years now and I don't even have half of that...

Big congratulations on silver #1000 and the rest of the weeks silvers Trapper...especially the Kennedy, a silver I probably will never cross off as I hardly hunt any more. Nice to hear I provided a bit of motivation, but you put in the time and effort required to achieve your status as one of the Lords of Silver! Excellent digging from you as always!

Excellent hunting jack, nice assortment of silvers ther congrats!
Thank you Jeff, The Silver Kennedy is only the third of my career the last one I dug was over six years ago. I want this run to continue but its the 4th consecutive day of snow and cold.at least the winds have died down. I'm already climbing the walls and we won't see any melt temps to the end of the week.
that's a milestone Jack !
I only have 996 more to go lol
Thank you Southie for your reply. Don't look at that way but count the ones and relish them as they add up the ladder. You may be surprised over time.
Huge congratulations on 1000 Trapper!!

Appreciate your reply Matt, I have several very nice memories with you included in my success. You know I only have two years on you in this hobby. After the second my Silver coin count was only 55.

Bruce, thank you so much for your reply. It's true you aided heavily in my quest to reach this plateau and since you did it a couple years back it has been a driving force. I hope that a Silver Kennedy is still in your future as I think you have dug just about every thing else. Trapper
