Thanks for the good question OldCopper. I will have the winner confirm with their forum ID at the close of the contest. Once I confirm I will then post the winner on the website, followed by this thread. Thanks again OldCopper, was a great question I hadn't thought of.

Liked on Facebook. Will follow on twitter when I get twitter figured out. Wife uses that, not me.

Hello All!

First off, let me thank everyone that has entered the contest so far. I appreciate your interest, and am excited to close the contest and award someone a new F2.

Due to some emails I received that were a bit on the hostile side, I'd like to address some concerns you may have.

1: I'm sorry if you don't have a Facebook or Twitter account, and yes this contest does benefit me. One of my other businesses is an SEO company that ranks local companies in Google's search results. Based off of my opinion on Googles recent algorithm changes, social media plays a big part in local search rankings, so in full disclosure I do stand to benefit from having members like and follow my Facebook and Twitter pages. In exchange, I'm offering a free F2 to one member.

2. I'm not a fraud (had some emails calling me as much), and I will operate with oversight. I've thought up a way to pick the winner, and Vlad and Carol, the owner of the websites, will be fully briefed on that criteria tomorrow. I would never run a contest that wasn't legit. I'm not sure how these contests have struck a nerve with a few, but I will do everything in my power to alleviate those concerns.

3. If you're wondering about my lack of feedback on the forums, you are correct; I am a new business and don't have any feedback. If Vlad and Carol agree, I will send them a check for $2,500, and as I grow my business if someone feels wronged and I don't make good, they can reimburse you. I know that wont be the case because I will always run an honest business.

Folks, I'm sure this only pertains to the minority, but just wanted to be clear of my intentions. It's no secret that I'm a new business and I hope that the reputation I build will speak for itself.

Facebook and Twitter are both free to sign up for and free to use.
Not your fault people can't sign up for those. They apparently have e-mail addresses, since they signed up to these forums, which is all you need to have.

Thanks for such a wonderful contest!

Yeah, don't sweat it. You could give away free money and some people would still complain and question your motives.

You mean you are giving away like $1000 worth of free stuff and there is something in it for you? How terrible.
