Wildgame Innovations (AKA: Ground EFX)

I'd actually put more credence in non-affiliated websites, than a site that sells the units.

I just got an mx200 for my b day but haven't tested it very well do to the ground being frozen. But some air tests have shown decent results. Waving us coins past the coil and its accurate, then I grabed a nice square nail I saved from a remodel and disc iron and sure enough it ignored it. It has a depth reading feature that wooks well also. If anyone has some things they would like me to try let me know. Im about to go out to the dry dirt floor of the barn and have a go at trying it out in the dirt

my mx300 works great...11" depth!...but a bit noisey somtimes....found coins ect.

Wild game

I bought on of those MX400 detectors and so far I like it allot, it works good for me and I really like the GPS (within about 2 feet), the settings are easy to use and learn, I've had it for 2 days and have learned most all settings.

It is a little heavy but I just use a strap (bungee cord with snap hooks on both ends connected to my LBV vest) with a small dog collar to wrap around the handle and collar has an attachment ring for a lead on it to snap my strap onto. Makes it almost weightless to swing. The LED flash light is bright and is nice for night hunting. Pinpointing is right on also. All in all I think it is a very good detector that is made in China. (I've seen some pretty good stuff made there just not American made is all). I give it a good rating that's for sure, will just have to see how it does this summer.

Just bought an MX400 myself.

I have over 35 years of metal detecting experience, and have owned about every detector made, many high dollar Whites, Minelab, Fisher, Garrett, ... you name it. With that said, my opinion of the MX400, ....... I think it is one of the best values for the money out there, and like all the machines, you learn to use it and you will be very successful with it .

I hunted a specific area of a sand playground with my Whites DFX, and then with the MX400, ...... and found 2 quarters and a dime with the MX400. I hunted another area with the MX400, and then with the DFX, ... and found a quarter, a penny, and a small plated charm with the DFX. Now what does that all mean, ....... nothing! Both machines were finding coins at 5 to 10 inches, ..... and both performed well in my opinion. All it really means is I missed some targets in my initial hunts of each area. At under $300, I was amazed the MX400 performed as well as it did, good depth, excellent separation, quick recovery, and pinpoint was good. But "Made in China", ....... yea so? Your detectors may be assembled in Texas, Washington, or wherever, ...... but bet the parts are made in another country.

My opinion, the MX400 is a sleeper, highly overlooked because it doesn't say Whites, Fisher, Garrett, or whatever on it.
