wilcox coin probes? help

maybe someone can give me a lesson hear. i see tony has these 9" wilcox coin probes for sale. can anyone tell me how they are used?

I have been working on this a few times and it will take some getting used to. The process is to use the probe to locate the target depth. Then you insert an screwdriver on center just above the target and rotate it to open the ground. Insert the screwdriver just under the target at an angle and work the target to the surface. The you should be able to get any dirt that came out back in and close it up with you fingers.​

There are some people here that use it with success.​
