who would be your top three guys/gals you would like to hunt with?

Capt SE Dan is also a robot,I hope he’s still at it. Never seen anyone hunt like that, and be as repetitively successful and fast. I got worn out just watching the videos I’ve seen of him. Not taking anything off of Jason,I’m sure he’s a robot too...

Dan & Jason hunt together, talk about The Dynamic Duo!! :D

Along with those two, our English brother Doug is my choice!

Easy,

Mud
Mud
Mud.

I love laughing.

I think it would be great to just go with anyone on here. I think everyone is great. Don't you just want to have a good time and see who can tell the biggest lie about what they found. I can come up with a few fish stories.
KEN. :p

Would love to detect with you sometime Ken and think of all the Philippines tales we could swap. With all your years of experience bet I could learn a lot from you and have lots of fun in the process.

Would love to spend a day detecting with you as well Gary, we have lots of fun here on the forum.

It'd be fun to detect with both you and Ken, too bad we all live so far apart and have responsibilities that prevent extended travel, be neat if we had transporters like they do on "Star Trek", we could beam to places instantly

Yes: Dan (capt'n SE) is a Robot too. If you cut either of them, they don't bleed !

Three people I would like to hunt with. Calabash, Brad of Green Mountain Metal detecting and Bill Southern. Those guys are the real thing and are not trying to be youtube stars in my opinion. They put metal detecting first and foremost.

Calabash not trying to be a YouTube star? That guy's ego makes the Grand Canyon look like a sandbox!:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol

The Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost make for a good hunting party.
People people? I'd like to hunt with any three detectorists who are good at it, but not as lucky as me. :D

Dan is still at it. We hunt together most weekends and the majority of the time he out hunts me.

You could set up a time and detect any where you wanted with anyone you wanted and still be home before supper.

That’s great to hear! Just don’t see him posting anymore,I wish he would...
I've tried, but he's not interested in posting anymore.

That’s an unfortunate loss to the greater detecting community but I get it. It’s VERY hard to explain to someone what you guys do,and what I try to do. When he puts a well written, well stated post up and there’s always someone who says “No no no” it gets really old. Why try to change small minds? It’s great to be recognized as a top shelf hunter but not at the expense of ones sanity. This thing takes ALOT of time and experience, and some things can’t be conveyed with words,no matter how many.

Yeah, sometimes I get discouraged making posts after seeing 1,000 people view my post and the same handful of 20 or so people make a comment or say nice finds. I still try to give updates to things Dan find on my posts if it is something noteworthy.

There's a bunch of people I'd like to hunt with. You, Trapper and the Wisconsin crew, Captain Silver and maybe even a hunt with Tom if he lets me come up north. Lot's a great people on this forum.
