Where to buy HF pinpointer?

The hf pinpointer works ok for me.But i don't use a pinpointer that much.Ice scratcher did point out a flaw. And iam in florida so i have that problem with it.But for the price it does the job for me.

Glad to hear!!

Now they do work just fine usually at room temperature but once it starts getting warm in the sun you will have to keep turning down the sensitivity till it gets so warm you can't turn it down any more. It is at that point you must adjust it from the inside...

Everything you will need to know, and more, can be read on this thread..

I hav actually kept an ice pack in a pouch with the centech when it was real hot to help with this.....crazy, yeah, but hey, whatever helps. Now I have a propointer which does the job, but that 15 dollar centech was a game changer for me as my first pinpointer. change the switch for sure.

I have a spare HF pin pointer , new in the box, shipped to your door , [ [ U. S. ] for $22, if you have a hard time finding one.

If you or anyone you know is even halfway good at soldering, do the thermistor mod, I have not needed to worry about temps at all since I did it. I think the component is less than $2.00!

Anyone near me, if they get the component, and bring it to me, I'll solder it up for free no problem.. Although a 6 pack will get far better results ... Just kidding, no I'm not....
