Hmmm, which one be your choice x Terra Pro,Simplex,or At pro?Any feedback would be appreciated .
The XTpro won't run in salt water using beach mode? I just got one and haven't had a chance to get it in salt water, but I did use my salt paddle (simulates salt) and it seems to reject it just fine. It's my guess that in salt mode the XTpro uses a quasi-multifrequency technique to cancel salt, so it run just as good as a true MF in salt.AT pro. I have owned an AT pro and xterra pro. The AT pro is more stable however both are no good in salt water.
The AT Pro has four different frequencies.Having only those 3 options, I'd choose the X-Terra. It's the only one of the 3 that can change frequencies.
Asking for opinions on a new detector is an exercise in frustration because everyone will have different opinions. I haven't ever used an XTerra or a Simplex so I can't compare them to anything else. I do use an AT Pro and have had very good results with it. I'm sure others will say they had good results with the Simplex or the XTerra. Good luck with whichever detector you end up with.Hmmm, which one be your choice x Terra Pro,Simplex,or At pro?Any feedback would be appreciated .
It doesn't. It is able to do minor frequency shift to help with EMI, but it is a single frequency detector. The AT Pro has four different frequencies.
Depends on how you interpret it. True, it's not a multi-freq detector in the true sense. It doesn't. It is able to do minor frequency shift to help with EMI, but it is a single frequency detector.
