Many folks don't care for Zep but they were gods back then. I was weaned on Jimmy and Robert, I gotta whole lotta love!Yes Groundhogs good one. So going back then I can only think of one that tops my list and that's Led Zeppelin Jimmy Page.
Even my wife, a country fan, likes Hair Nation and Ozzy's Boneyard -
Lets not forget Danzig-Twist of Cain
Anthrax.... great memories, great band. Saw them play numerous times. Opened for Metallica a few shows. Awesome live
Scott Ian ( one of 2 guitarists in the band ) was very local and married a girl I knew in high school.
A couple Anthrax tunes recently put a smile on my face. Dang it if I didn't remember most of the lyrics! Man I am old!
I enjoy Anthrax. Good memories from them including one that you might "relate" to. Back in the day, I worked at Service Merchandise in Century Mall in Merrillville. Anthrax was playing at the Star Theatre that night and Scott and Frank came to the food court for something to eat. I just happened to be on break at the time and recognized them. Got to talk to them for a little while.

As for right now I am still listening to "Viking Metal". I really like TYR a lot.
