What happened to this forum ?

This right here is why I joined, I told all of you that I lurked for quite awhile, I was on tnet for years and just now I went onto my account over there and the last log-in was 2/25/17. I had enough of there stuff, politics, favoritism,etc.
I had a buddy over there who was sort of the alpha dog and him and I went back and forth every day, in a good way but we also got warned a couple of times due to verbally abusing each other, (thats what tnet called it,we called it having fun). If you look at my 2nd post on this site it was directed to tom-in-cal, he is the closest person that I thought was just like my buddy on tnet, (sorry tom). But you guys were quick to pick up on this guy, I like that. As soon as I read the title I thought this came from tnet.
This is the first site I have joined since walking away and do not regret it one bit, I was cautious of what md site I was going to join next because like I said I was on there for awhile.

Good response. And yes you gotta watch out for that Tom guy. Especially about permissions.
What many forget sometimes( including THE KOB) are 2 things :
#1. The 1st word of this site is friendly. #2. I do think there are younger kids that come on here and most would want to learn about the hobby. Not falling into some crazy out of control debate amongst adults that has nothing to do with detecting.

Chaz, welcome to FMDF. Yeah it's sad there. I suppose it's great if you consider a "treasure" to have been "found" (past tense) because your wand pointed in a direction. Because no one can scrutinize that logic, lest they be banned.

And watch out for this Kob fellow ! He's got a few "bees in his bonnet" too, haha
