Hello all
                     found this about 5-6 inches down in a volley ball court it was bellow the sand in the hard dirt, I've got it soaking in water to see how much will desolve from there I'm not quite sure what do you guys and gals think. It also weighs aprox. 3-4 lbs.

Looks like a tooth from a sickle bar mower to me. It is about the right size and weight.

It almost looks like a dagger shape. Don't know.

I don't know if I'm spelling this right but... Looks like a scarifier point. You find them on a box blade. It's used to scratch up the surface then be leveled out with the box blade.
