West Coast beach hunting has a new danger

One of the first clues is that the story has no link to it so readers can judge credibility.
2nd clue was "starfish were mysteriously disintegrating"; that one had me lol.

Here's the story site, apparently: http://theextinctionprotocol.wordpr...radiation-already-reached-the-u-s-west-coast/

Looks to be more credible than world net daily but not by much. They appear to like to lift parts of their stories, giving full credit for the source, but also make it look like the entire story is from that credible source (in this instance NYT(the pic), InfoWars(late quote)).

I'm not saying Fukushima isn't a real disaster but the radiation in this video is (very) obviously not connected to Fukushima. Aside from the thorium/cesium contradiction (which is a huge one), the guys is checking areas with KNOWN natural hotspots of thorium. If it had floated over from Japan he would be getting readings from the water and air, not localized areas of black sand. Plus, if you're willing to look into it, a lot of the 'dangerous' levels the media scares us with are actually minuscule...like a year's exposure would not even equal the amount of radiation you receive from one trans-oceanic flight or a trip to the dentist. I'm as worried about radiation as anybody, living in Japan as I do, but these scare articles really p$$s me off....no scientific basis whatsoever. If you want a real idea of what is going on, check a scientific, apolitical group like Safecast or even the IAEA who were just here for weeks doing independent studies.
