The rain has set in for a few days but at least the ground can now be dug. Finds are from the nearest field to a local castle...the castle site being out of bounds.
Top left a typical Welsh Roman coin damaged by acid rain and ground chemicals. To the right a sword chap used to protect the tip of a sword. Then a forerunner to the army cap badge 14th-16th century.
Below U.S. one cent for scale. Nice condition 1902 Jubilee Medal. Button (date not known). To the right typical buckle finds.
No coins what so ever.
Detector used was a Discovery Treasure Baron with Pro Hunter module and 11 inch Thunderhead coil. There's a Treasure Baron on the U.S. e-Bay soon. Great machine but way to heavy.
