Well if its not one thing its another.
Long story shorter.
My friend has a house now that she inherited from her father and mothers passing in the past two years. A pipe broke in the kitchen that was a nightmare.
And with parents illness and losses it finally was finished not right items stolen and shoddy work. But with the parents passing and one brother completely making a huge mess of a clear trust and parents wishes. Anyhow finally 2 years about 6 months ago her brother did the right thing and settled her out of the trust and she is clean and clear owner. Other brothers still fighting but that's for then and their mess to sort out.
Anyhow trying to help where I can. Disabled friend 4 kids. So trying to figure out best and thriftiest place to get a water heater. I haven't had any luck in tracking the warranty. Still have to check with sears (their closed when I got off work)
Current one Is American water heater company (calling tomorrow as well)
50 gallon marked 12 year warranty.
Got sticker shock looking at home depot 700 for a equal one?!.
Suggestions and or input please.
After two days of having to light it every few hours the thermo coupler was swapped today, now down to no light at all.)
