Water finds pouch

Thanks for all the great replies. It helps a lot. This forum is really great for this kind of information.

I'm thinking either the red minelab one that 18k suggested or the one that JB Njal and OBN use. Leaning toward the red mine lab. 18k has never steered me wrong before and hunts the same conditions over here. I like that open pocket for the junk in the front. Only problem I worry about is wear and tear. The one John makes looks really durable.

May not have one over there? But we have what are called Army navy surplus stores. The one here actually sells new mesh black pouches. Good price too!

DeMarco Detector Sales has that bag for $34.99
The Pro Beach & Water Hunting Pouch.

Another one on e-bay by Pro-Tectors Finds Bag.
I like that a water bottle fits in it, very durable.

I have the same one JBEXPRESS has, I've had it a couples year and like it a lot. I got it off ebay and has been through and held a lot of stuff in it
with zippers on both pouches and the small one does not allow anyone to see whats in it but I can go in the water up to my chest and not worry about anything coming out and all the water drains out.
Just hose it off when I'm done
Well made and has held up.

We got lucky Ice, the Surf Elites are getting hard to get. He only offers them once in a while now. He puts up a few and they are gone instantly.

Thanks Irons!

The only thing I didn't like was the velcro was too damn strong on the big main pouch (for junk), so I fixed that by taking an extra piece of the softer velcro and used it to cover up the rough velcro on the big pocket so it is open mostly... If I want it to stay shut, I can just take that soft piece off again..

Yeah the velcro is pretty intense! I pull it all the way to the right and then stick it together so there is a big gap hanging open on that side and it's tight over the left side.

That way my cigar butts don't come floating out. :D

I use the same kind but the surf elite, it has a second pocket hidden in the back.

It is an awesome pouch I bought a second one over the winter for a backup. Very high quality and well thought out pouch.

I really dug the Surf Elite Pouch, and contacted the seller to see when he'd have more. He told me that he'd have more this weekend, and they posted a little bit ago. I just bought one, and wanted to let others know that they are available. Can't wait to get it!

Thanks for the input Iron, I found one on Ebay and man they are not easy to come by but I was looking for a good pouch.

Ditto on the Kellyco 3 pocket mesh pouch....had my for seven years.

6-years (only weekends) and still holding up great. I love the mesh because the sand/dirt just falls out and there is less mess. Ilso have the Camo garrett and (2) minelab pouches that have held strong too.

CAN'T BELIEVE THIS THREAD HAS ALMOST 6,000 VIEWS!!!!

Here is mine... Got it off Ebay a few years ago.. Has a big pouch for your trash and a smaller one in fron ( that you cant see through ) for your goodies... Also has mesh at the bottom so sand/dirt falls through it. Think I bought it for around $29.99 at the time.. Still holding strong to..

I use this too. A friend has them produced and it is a great product

Ditto on he above pouch. Some of the other seller are selling pouches with cheap steel zippers.... to be used in salt water. 1 season and toast (from uk)
