That place is a great find. Plenty of lead bullets and other relics. But no coins keep it up there has to be some coinage there. HH

the nail is the only pictured item that wasn't found in this camp.. but yes, it was found in a firepit in another camp about 10 miles from this new camp. It's only in two of the photos, one as a prop for a bullet so you could see the base. And the other time is to separate the fired and melted bullets.

Words just can't express how awesome all those finds you made. You have enough to start your own museum for sure. I'm totally ignorant when it comes to CW relics, and I was wondering what kind of bullet that is in the fifth pic. The one leaning on the square cut nail. I have never seen one quite like that. If I had to make a guess, I would say it is designed to fragment when it hits it's target, is that correct? Man what a collection you have. Thanks for sharing this.

thanks, the bullets in that picture have all been carved or intentionally altered. the one you ask about is carved
