I think I'm just getting lucky...I have a spot that a lot of things have been lost over the years. It's just that nobody felt it necessary to dig a little deeper and then start detecting. I felt like I cleared a field after yesterday. I must have lifted/moved 200 plus scoops of sand/rock. I had a nice "digging spot" going. I will continue in that same spot later today. I am assuming that the line of goodies will extend across the beach area for at least some distance. I would really like to find some more coins too!

by the way on the one you thought might be nazi I would just throw this piece of information out there, prior to world war II the swastika type thing turned so the top and bottom lines were parallel to the ground was a symbol that had no affiliation with anti-semitism or natzi-ism the natzis took it and turned the whole image 45 degrees so the corners pointed straight up and down and the lines were now at 45 degrees to the ground and this became the symbol of the third reich.

I am self employed which allows me an abundance of freedom. Now when my kids grow up - full time treasure hunter - if things allow it. I will try to become a "professional" at it. I am just practicing now.

I have just kept them so far. My 22 year old is going to school for jewelry repair so I figured when he was finished and with his help, for a small investment in some of them I could possibly resell them.
