Up to 86 silver from my hot spot (5 walking liberty halves)

Just incredible, to find a site like that is once in a lifetime dream. Did you research the spot to find it ? O r did someone tell you or did you just always knew about it and thought some day. Hopefully it will produce for years to come. Good luck Mark

...... I have dug a few wheaties but it is littered with wheat signals just skipped over most of them ...

Huh ? Wheaties (copper cents) and silver dimes are *very* close in TID. Only when they are shallow and scrutinized, can you guess a difference. So if you are "skipping pennies", then .... sheeesk, that must be a great spot ! Are you allowing sub-invitees ? If so, I travel !

Hmmmm...… let me take a wild guess here , Trump let you hunt the White House lawn ?
Wherever your hunting and however you got permission to hunt there , Super Congratulations !

Meant to say skip penny signals but had wheaties on the mind... Anything not ringing up clad dime+ or a weird vdi I'm skipping over because if I dug everything I wouldn't make any headway... I've know about the place a little bit but it's far away so wasn't in a hurry to hunt it

There was film in the camera

Where I am at in NY wheat pennies read anywhere from 12-36 to 12-44 on the ctx 3030 it is kind of bizarre

I received permission to do a spot that has seen thousands and thousands of people on it the last 100+ years... I've covered maybe 5% of it the first day in maybe 2 hours 9 silver (7 dimes 2 walking halves) second day there an hour and found 5 silver (3 dimes and a walking half with a quarter literally on top of it(... Can't wait to get back there tomorrow! Here are some pics of day one minus 1 dime... Didn't get any pics of yesterday

Edit: added pic of today's hunt 23 silver, a button, a lighter, and a camera

the 23 silvers is probably a record, for around here, this year.

The shocker for me, is the WHOLE CAMERA. LOL Any chance there is film in it, that can be recovered? that would be freaking cool...

Skippy

Congratulations killing the silver!!!
Please keep us posted.
BTW, was this through research or a permission, or both?

:woot: Twenty-three silver coins in a single day is incredible! Congratulations! Perhaps this thread should be moved to the "Eye Popping, Mind Blowing Finds" section. :D The camera is a neat find, too!

That’s cool I want to know if the camera film could be developed, how cool would that be!?!?

OK, Gotta know.

What KIND of location is this? Fair grounds? Picnic spot? Demolished neighborhood?

What kind of location is this that is loaded with silver?

Well back to my new favorite spot and it started real slow I dug once in over an hour and it was a wheatie... Ended with 12 silver (63 silvers and 5th walking liberty from the place) 11 wheaties, junk kid ring, lighter, toy plane, skeleton key, and probably my favorite dig a glass Pepsi bottle...
