Anyone have any ideas on this,it says Honi.soit.out.mal.t.pense on it.What language could that be.

This looks like a Military Cap Badge, the one on the other site has the attachment arm that you can see at the bottom of the Badge.  The Canadian Army Service Corps had a very similar Hat Badge during WW11 and the letters CAS/ASC in the middle of the Badge would seem to confirm this, anyway for what it's worth..

I should think it's from WW I not WW II.

The belt and buckle around it is a usual theme with Scottish Clans. You might want to start with that.
