Two Small Silvers.... Then a Big One.

I love Mercury Head Dimes. When my brother and I were little kids, we would explore the storm tunnels around our house. One day we went really far down one. We had our hunting head lamps on and learned that the good stuff was in the pipe joints. We started digging out Mercury dimes. After about 4 hours we had around 125 all together. We later learned that about two years earlier, a coin store in our neighborhood had been robbed and the only thing not recovered was a bag of dimes. Apparently, the bag was thrown down a rain drain and rotted in the tunnel. Still have them to this day.

Wow!

Congrats! Seems like you've been killing it lately. I'm snowed in here. It will be at least next weekend before I can dig, and it may be to muddy then.
