Hi, don't think I have posted here in years, not much into computer activity and usually don't advertise my finds.

Found these 3, H ring is 18k and about 6 g's, other gold looked good in the scoop but only for a moment. Large one was hoping for white gold or at least silver, is unmarked and looks and feels stainless.

Also found this thing had no idea what it was, seeing it was Boliva figured it was some kind of time piece, turns out it is a "dog tag" style pendant, they retail for $160

All found with At Pro, still a beast of a machine after all these years and all I ever use in the water.

:dingding:Congrats on the gold! I have a very strong magnet that helps me identify those questionable items. I've had marked "925" chains be fake - didn't pass the magnet test.

Congratulations!
I would never even consider getting rid of my AT Pro after 11 years, going strong:D

Some fine gold! I seen a guy in OC MD last week swinging a AT Pro, I was wondering how he did. He went down the beach in the wet, than as he came north I did see him stop a few times in the dry.

I never liked the AT out of the water, most if not all of the reason is I never adapted to wearing headphones while hunting ,, I often hunt sketchy hoods where few dare to tread, and sometimes at night. Consequentially, I need to have my full sense of hearing, and headphones would leaver me vulnerable.
Yes, I could use headphones when I'm not in the hood, but I have just gotten used to not using them ,, In the water, you pretty much have to use them unless just wading.

So why not take the headphones off the AT and use it on land ? Because the way they designed it they are very difficult to connect and unconnect, just can't get a thumb and finger on the barrel to turn it so its pretty much 1 thread at a time until tight - After the 1st couple times I gave up and decided to keep the headphones on it full time and use it exclusively in the water, and use other detectors on land.

Results speak for themselves and it excels for that purpose, I have no reason to seek another water detector, and my Legend will be a backup in case anything ever happened to it. I sure don't see any reason to dunk another $700 detector just because it is supposedly waterproof.

I don't test gold but have a pretty good eye for it, that one is copper, can see rub/wear marks on it
