Today's River Hunt

Went out for a 4 hour hunt this morning... The usual this and that, a money clip, and my first zip top! Never dug one of those before. I'm dedicated this year on the quest for gold. No one said it would be easy.. I dug 57 pull tabs, for a grand total of 176 this year so far. Yeah, I know! Not that many yet! I'll keep the count until it happens, and then I'll roll it back over. Clad count today was a solid $1.23. Not bad. Not bad at all. Posting these average hunts is showing the reality of metal detecting. Rings just don't grow in the dirt! Happy hunting folks! We all have those hunts but we keep at it , eventually it will come. If it was easy i would quit my job and just pull river gold. Keep at it boss , thanks for sharing.

Keep in mind Im not counting those sweet sounding bottlecaps, little bits of foil, and the little busted off tails you find from beaver tabs all over the place. We arent going there
