Hey folks, today I hunted with Madzdad71, at a new site I researched, that goes back to the 1800s. Unfortunately this is another site, that everybody and their brother hunts regularly . But I figured if I looked hard enough and gave it enough effort, with the e-trac, there had to be a goodie or two left in this park somewhere. And there were some goodies left. I started off by finding a 1903 IH Penny. And then I was closer to the road, and got a lower tone signal, in the 30s, on the e-trac. I was hoping for something old and nice. This would end up being an old spill. I found the transit token first, and then found the 1902 IH Penny, that was attached to it. Then I had noticed the pinpointer was picking up another signal in the hole, and off to the side. I seen the edge of a silver coin. I would have never expected a quarter out of this pounded site, but indeed it was a silver quarter. A dateless SLQ. My second of the year. The IH penny, and token in the same hole, was probably why the numbers were so low, and why, all the cherry picking hunters skipped this signal over the years. Anyway I finished the hunt with 14 Wheat pennies, two wheats are stuck together, and I can't separate them. My oldest Wheat of the day was a 1911 D. I would also find a well worn 1920 Merc, and a Buffalo Nickel. This place may be worth another trip or two . Well anyway here are the pics of my finds, enjoy, thanks for looking, and Happy Hunting everyone!
