That's a good luck token that they had in machines that you put your own letters in and it would stamp what you wanted on it. I would assume it's "north kent ohio". I've dug one or two and think they're really cool, especially because it's a one-of-a-kind item. Congrats on the sweet find and HH!

This is the one I pulled this spring here in town that even says "Speedway IN." on it.

The machines was called a metal-typer and they were popular at amusement parks and carnivals. Anywhere from 40s to 60s usually. There are actually still some people using the old machines to make them today and you can order them online. The last one I dug is stamped with "PAT. 5-15-23 GEO. W. HEENE CLEVELAND, OH.", so this company patented theirs in '23. Large range of year possibilities making them hard to date.

Those stamping machines were pretty common in the 60s as I remember. Somewhere I still have one with my name on it from a school patrol boy end-of-year outing at Indiana Dunes State Park in 1966.

Old post here but gotta add mine I just found today.

The front says,
T.A. Hass. Newton, N.C.

The center piece is hard to read but it looks like,
Loridia Crow Watch but could be Florida Crow Watch. The F is either hard to see or not there.

On the back it says
Pat 5.15-25
Geo W Heene
Cleavland. O

I guess we have all have found one of those. You put a penny in the machine and get printed whatever you want. Supposed to be good luck, not.
