Haven't posted in a while.....been busy but still finding time to hunt.
10 Silvers since Saturday but yesterday had to be the best find ever for me.
Went out Yesterday with PJ (icthelite) to a small park we have been hunting the
last couple days. Got 4 silver out of there on Tuesday.
Yesterday I was getting some deep 8-9 inch wheaties but no Silver.....PJ got
two Mercuries and at one point he had to leave for the day. Within 10 minutes
of him leaving a got a signal that was jumping around yet a few times I saw a
46 or 47 in the conductive numbers on the Etrac and of course it had that familiar
Etrac sound.
Dug the plug and saw the two silver coins (the washington and Merc)
I call Pj right away and as the phone is still ringing I took my probe and
checked the hole (which I always do) and there is another coin in there
right at the bottom of the hole dead center.
I scraped a little dirt from the bottom and another merc was right there.
I had PJ on the phone by this time and I said to him, "your not going to believe this!!"
Anyway, I know this is getting long but this was the most exciting find I have ever
had. I just stayed there on my knees at the hole for the longest time just looking
at the coins. I left the Merc at the bottom of the hole partially exposed with the other
two up on the dirt and I just savored the moment with a big smile on my face.
It was so incredibly awesome!!!
I continued to hunt for about another half hour and couldn't stop smiling
